April marked a year of dealing with Covid. It’s so weird to read about the Spanish Flu and see the similarities. It’s like a modern day plague- masks, quarantines, business and public places all shut down. The good news is that the world got over it and life moved on after about two years.
We had an Easter Egg hunt at Grandma’s house and on the same day, Bennett was baptized in the swimming pool. Lincoln gave a talk and did a great job. Izzie contributed swig knock off cookies which were soooo good. I love Easter Egg hunt day so much, we always have such nice weather and no pressure to go anywhere. Everyone swims and we eat and just exist. I love it.
April was full of sunshine, friends over, school (thankfully) and baseball.
Bennett asked Izzie to make these cookies for the baptism. She did great.
