Glorious weather at my favorite place. The best fall weather we have ever had. Also, we’ve fully embraced the cheesy disney attire. Target, Kohl’s, Lularoe, JC Penny- all have Disney lines at way better prices than the disney stores inside the gates… just a head’s up.

Disney’s CA adventure always has a seasonal display for Halloween- the last couple years it has been Coco themed. Day of the Dead, with an “ofrendo” and a place to write special things for loved ones and then hang them. Did you see that movie? It was so sweet but also cut me to the core big time. They also had crafts for the kids, live music. We went over there to eat lunch one day and as we were organizing the kids and getting our food out- a mariachi band starting singing “Remember Me.” Out of no where this huge wave just hit me like a ton of bricks and suddenly I’m sobbing behind my sunglasses at Disneyland trying to feed my kids a picnic. That’s kind of how grief works- you are going along and everything is sort of fine and something reminds you of this huge vacancy in your life and for a minute it’s hard to breathe.
