Secretly I love being the older sister.
Should I hold his hand on our date? What should I take over to my sick boyfriend? How did you know you were in love? Should I take this job? Can I pull off skinny jeans? What should I major in? How much did you spend on your wedding dress? What does it feel like to be married? To live with a boy? To feel a baby kick?
I feel so special when they ask me questions and really want to know what I think. Sometimes I know what to say and sometimes I don’t, but they know I’m always around to ask.
Two engaged sisters. Two weddings to plan. Two dresses to buy. Four million things to do.
Tomorrow, Isabelle and I are venturing to the land of flurries and snow to help get some of those things done. I’ve just barely packed the essentials for our six day venture- clothes, toiletries, diapers, toys, shoes, books, medicine, snacks, wipes, blankets, sleep sack, pack n play, car seat, stroller- I need a pack mule to get my stuff from the car to the check in desk at the airport. SIX DAYS. Fifty pounds of stuff for me and my 24 pound child. Gimme a break.
Excited doesn’t quite cover it. ECSTATICBALLS. We’re gonna see family and friends and shop and eat and show Isabelle what snow really looks like. Be back in a flash.

how exciting! That is so great. I am really close to my three sisters and I love that we are all married now and all moms. It's the best. And even though you are super close now, you will be even closer now that you will all be married and then have babies together! Have fun in UT.
