We don’t ever need an excuse to get together and eat tasty food but we are sure thankful to Roosevelt and the pilgrims for making it a federal holiday for us.
My favorite parts: Mom’s orange rolls. How does she get the bottom the perfect amount of crusty. Dad’s stuffing, always so good. Sweet potatoes but I like both the pecan toppings and also the marshmallow burnt bits. One of the best things ever is to make a leftover sandwich. Turkey, stuffing, GRAVY V. IMPORTANT, cranberry sauce. Salt. So delicious. Now I want to make thanksgiving food even though it’s August.
